Ecumenical Council of Churches in Vyškov Garrison

A gathering of all leaders of the Christian Churches in the Czech Republic, who are also members of the Ecumenical Council of Churches, took place in the Spiritual Services Centre of the AF CR from 14^th to 15^th April 2010. It was held under the patronage of the Spiritual Services of the Army of the Czech Republic. One of the main points on the agenda was to get acquainted with the military chaplains` work in the AF CR and, in particular, with the Ethic Workshop Project which has been organized in a Luleč Spiritual Services Centre since 2006.

The churches` leaders visited also Vyškov Garrison where they were received by Colonel GS Zbyněk Janečka, TC – MA Deputy Commander. Afterwards they attended an ecumenical service in the Garrison Chapel which was dedicated to the victims of the air crash in Smolensk, Russia.
