Foundation of the Czech and Slovak Artillery Club (CSAC), civic society in Vyškov Garrison

A foundation meeting of CSAC took place on 1st Oct 2009 in Vyškov Garrison. Its aim was the foundation of CSAC, election of the club bodies and ratifying fundamental documents necessary for Club activities and the Club statutes in particular.

The meeting was run by Reservist Col Miroslav Hrebíček, Chairman of the Organizational Committee, who held an introductory speech addressing the items on the agenda. Thirteen founding members of the CSAC were present. Maj Martin Šufajzl, Prague CSAC presidium member, who is also the Deputy Chairman of the University of Defense CSAC in Brno, attended the meeting as well.

The Club presidium members were selected by acclamation. They are:

  • The Club Chairman: Lt-Col Ivan MRÁZ
  • The Club Deputy Chairman: Reservist Lt-Col Jiří BÍLSKÝ
  • The Club Deputy Chairman: Cpt Pavel ŠLIMAR
  • The Club Secretary: Cpt Petr RAICHL

The aim of the Club is to fulfill and develop activities and objectives of Prague CSAC within the context and sphere of Vyškov Garrison. Any person aged 18 and older who agrees with the Club’s aims can join the Club.

A new exclusive CSAC thus commenced its activity on that day in Vyškov Garrison.
