On 23 March 2010 a graduation ceremony of 36 students of the NATO Civilians Pre-Deployment Course took place in the Theatre Hall of the Baroque Chateau in Slavkov u Brna. This course has been organized for the 14th time in Vyškov Garrison and it was commenced on 17 March 2010.

The graduates were awarded certificates which were handed over by Colonel GS Jaromír Zůna, TC – MA Commander, and Colonel GS Karel Klínovský who is providing these courses with assistance of the highly experienced personnel of the Peace Support Operations Pre-Deployment Training Department. The NATO Civilians Pre-Deployment Course is a very prestigious matter for TC – MA. The very first course was held three years ago and 400 civilian employees from the Command and NATO agencies have passed it so far.

The course was launched on request of the International Staff of NATO Command for national support within the field of international civilian personnel training for operations and deployments approved by NATO Council. Its objective is to provide knowledge and practical skills required for safe and successful NATO deployments and operations taking place in different countries.

Thanks to highly qualified teachers and instructors of Military Academy and with regard to the first-rate theoretical and practical training, the course was accredited at Military Academy in Vyškov on 25 May 2007 by the Chief of Staff of Allied Command Transformation in Norfolk and is a compulsory qualification prerequisite for all NATO civilian personnel who are supposed to take part in NATO operations.
