On Friday 27th November 2009 a successful completion of this year`s Warrant Officers` Course took place in Dědice Barracks as well as Squad Commanders` Course and Higher Sergeants Course. Almost 300 graduates of the courses were given a certificate of attendance during the ceremony attended among others by Brigadier-General and Joint Forces and Army Ground Forces Commander Miroslav Žižka, Karel Jurka, Deputy Mayor of Vyškov and Marcel Fiury, Chief Warrant Officer of Joint Forces Command.

Colonel GS Zbyněk Janečka, TC – MA Deputy Commander, congratulated the graduates on their success and pointed out:

“As new graduates you will join formations and facilities of the Army of the Czech Republic (ACR) where you will serve and use knowledge gained in TC – MA. I believe that you will be good assets for your units and that time spent studying and training will be evaluated for your hard work both at commander and specialized positions. Training Command – Military Academy has a significant place in education and training of staff sergeants, warrant officers and officer corps for the ACR. Our task and mission is to educate and train professional soldiers in every way. Our prestige depends on how well we will prepare our graduates for their career and service in the ACR both at home and during their missions abroad. I am convinced that you will contribute to good reputation of TC – MA among both the public and the Army by applying your knowledge in practice.”

Afterwards in his speech Brigadier-General Miroslav Žižka pointed out significance of the education element in the whole process of education, when he stressed that being a professional army member means above all to behave and act as a professional.
