Brigade General James Brown, Texas National Guard Deputy Commander and company visited Training Command – Military Academy in Vyškov on 22 September 2009.

The objective of this visit from overseas was to evaluate existing cooperation between the Training Command – Military Academy and the Texas National Guard and the possibility of its expansion in the future. The delegation was welcomed by Colonel GS, Jaromír Zůna, Training Command – Military Academy Commander.

After lunch, Colonel Zůna informed the guests about the main TC – MA mission. After a commemorative record in the TC – MA chronicle and being photographed, the delegation went to see the Department of Simulation and Trainer Technologies which is in all its aspects an army-wide part of the Centre of Simulation and Trainer Technologies (CSTT) in Brno. The most up-to-date technologies used for training within the AFCR were shown there. After the tour, the delegation was seen by Lieutenant Colonel Roy, BMATT Chief of Staff. Finally, the delegation went to see the Air Force Training Hangar where its vehicles and aircraft and training equipment are kept for practical training of air force professions. After the closing meeting between the TC – MA Commander and the delegation, the visit was concluded.
