Training Command – Military Academy

On the 6^th October 2009 Erik Kopač from the Defence Research Centre at Ljubljana University in Slovenia visited Vyskov Garrison. He was met by Colonel GS Jaromír Zůna, Training Command – Military Academy Commander. During their initial briefing the Colonnel acquainted his guest with a mission and activities of Training Command – Military Academy (TC-MA).

The main purpose of Erik Kopač`s visit was his lecture on the Transformation of the Armed Forces of Slovenia which took place at the Institute of Doctrine at TC – MA. His lecture was attended not only by representatives of the Institute of Doctrine, but also by the students of the Basic Officers` Course. During the afternoon Eric Kopač visited the Peace Support Operations Pre-Deployment Training Department within the Department of Development at TC-MA where he became acquainted with its activities and he also visited some of the specialized classrooms.
