Training Command – Military Academy

A graduation of seventeen active reserve students took place in a WO Club in Dědice Garrison on 12^th May 2010. The graduates started the course at TC – MA Institute of Training on the 1^st April 2010 and commenced their six-week military training which is compulsory for all active reservists during the first year of their active-reserves` contract.

Václav Klaus, President of the Czech Republic, appointed new generals in the Prague Castle on the 8th May 2010.

On the occasion of the 65^th Anniversary of the End of World War II (WWII) in Europe a dress line-up of Vyškov Garrison personnel took place on the 7^th May 2010.

The AF CR parade of the units situated in the South Moravian Region took place in Svoboda Square in Brno on the 6^th May 2010. TC – MA Vyškov was one of the honoured participants performing in front of the general public.

The Army of the Czech Republic and the Town of Vyškov held a concert marking the Family Day in Masaryk Square in Vyškov on 13th May 2010 at 5 p.m.

A gathering of all leaders of the Christian Churches in the Czech Republic, who are also members of the Ecumenical Council of Churches, took place in the Spiritual Services Centre of the AF CR from 14^th to 15^th April 2010. It was held under the patronage of the Spiritual Services of the Army of the Czech Republic. One of the main points on the agenda was to get acquainted with the military chaplains` work in the AF CR and, in particular, with the Ethic Workshop Project which has been organized in a Luleč Spiritual Services Centre since 2006.

A workshop for CIOR young reserve officers was held from 7^th to 10^th April 2010 at Training Command – Military Academy (TC – MA) in Vyškov (CIOR stands for Interallied Confederation of Reserve Officers). It was organized in cooperation with a CIOR national representative MAJ Arnošt Líbezný, President of the Czech Republic Association of Reserve Brigades, and TC – MA Vyškov. The purpose of the workshop was a discussion of national approaches of formation, training, education and deployment of reserve units within national and multinational operations.

The conference entitled Twenty Years of Transformation of Military Education – Personnel Training for the AF CR Needs was held from 30^th – 31^st March 2010 on the occasion of the 75^th Anniversary of the Personnel Training.

The 75^th Anniversary of the Personnel Training of the Ministry of Defence of the Czech Republic (MoD CR) was celebrated in Vyškov Garrison on 29 March 2010. The event was organized and hosted by Training Command – Military Academy (TC – MA).

On 23 March 2010 a graduation ceremony of 36 students of the NATO Civilians Pre-Deployment Course took place in the Theatre Hall of the Baroque Chateau in Slavkov u Brna. This course has been organized for the 14^th time in Vyškov Garrison and it was commenced on 17 March 2010.
