Praporčíci vyřazeni

Dne 24. června 2011 bylo u Velitelství výcviku – Vojenské akademie ve Vyškově (VeV-VA) vyřazeno 37 vojáků, kteří úspěšně absolvovali dvouměsíční praporčický kurz.

Koncert k Mezinárodnímu dni rodin

The Commando Comes to Vyškov

The first Commando Course, which used to be organized by the 4th Rapid Deployment Brigade (RDB), will take place in Vyškov from the 1st to 21st November 2010. The Peace Support Operations Pre-Deployment Training Department, Training Command – Military Academy, will hold this course according to the ACR accreditation.

The 16th NATO Course in Vyškov

On 2nd June 2010 a graduation of 34 civilian employees of the NATO commands and agencies who attended a NATO Civilians Pre-deployment Course at Training Command – Military Academy (TC – MA) took place in the Austerlitz Castle. This 16th course was also attended by two Czech civilians who work for NATO agencies.

12th Children`s Survival

From 11 to 12 June 2010 the Children`s Survival called Doupov`s Greenhorn took place in the surrounding of Hradiště Military Training Area. The event was organized for 8-17-year-old children coming from children`s homes and sponsor`s organizations. Every year it is organized by Hradiště Training Facilities Servicing Centre (TFSC) and the Club of the Friends of Kadaň Town and is held within the framework of the cooperation with the public, free-time activities centres and elimination of the socially unacceptable phenomena.

Drivers Trained in Afganistan

One of the main tasks of the Institute of Traffic Education of the ACR Vyškov (ITE) is to train drivers of safeguarding as well as combat vehicles which is not an easy task due to the modernization and rearmament of the ACR. New combat vehicles such as Dingo 2 CZ A2, Iveco 4x4 LMV and Pandur II 8x8 have been bought since 2008. Due to this fact there has been a significant growth in requirements concerning the drivers` training which the ITE tries to meet as much as possible.

The 15th National Auxiliary Technical Battalions (ATB) and ACR Gathering

The 15th national gathering of the former personnel of the Military Forced Labour Camps (MFLC) – Auxiliary Technical Battalions (ATB) took place in Libavá Military Training Area on 10th June 2010. The event was organized by the ATB Association in cooperation with the ACR.

Vyškov Garrison Develops Cooperation with U.S. TRADOC

LTG Michael A. Vane, U.S. TRADOC Deputy Commander, visited Training Command – Military Academy in Vyškov on 11 June 2010. He was accompanied by BG Milan Kovanda, Joint Forces Deputy Commander, COL Charles Wilson, US Defense Attaché in the Czech Republic, and MAJ Nathan Hurt, US TRADOC Liaison Officer in Germany.

Soldiers fromVyškov Represented the Army at AUTOTEC 2010 Trade Fair

From 4th to 10th June 2010 the AF CR participated in AUTOTEC 2010, international trade fair of commercial motor vehicles held in Brno. The Institute of Traffic Education of the ACR Vyškov (ITE) set up and operated their exposition at this prestigious European event.

Mountain Bike Competition (MTB)

On 28 May 2010 the Mountain Bike Garrison Competition was held at Training Command – Military Academy and it was organized by the Department of Physical Training. It was, in fact, a preliminary-year competition.There were three categories: men under 35, men over 36 and women, but only ten competitors were enrolled and bad weather conditions discouraged some of them before the start. On Friday morning the weather looked better. The competitors gathered around 7.30 a.m. and were given their starting numbers and last instructions before the competition which started at 8.15 a.m. The route which was 22km long and situated in mildly broken terrain with both metalled and unmetalled roads (see the map below) was mastered by LCpl Jan Kocek.
